DVBS 2009!
"God's Big Backyard!"
was our theme for this summer's Daily Vacation Bible School. First I was chosen to be an assistant in the kindergarten level and the advise was Ate Grace Panum, Then Ate Brenda changed our position then I was picked to be a Music teacher together with Jok (a.k.a. MJM or Marnie John M. Marcos), then a Bible Study was held in our househeld with the Area 3, Ate Brenda, for the last time, changed some of the position. I became the ADVISE of Kinderggarten level in Cabuya. O_O first my assistant was her cousin, then my assistant was Kuya Brian (Her BF ;D), Mabait naman sha ee. :3
DAY 1:
I came to the church just in time for devotion at 6:00am. Actually the devotion was 5:30am, but my dad didn't lemme go too early. ^^ And as we waited for the vans to arrive, I was kind of excited yet at the same time nervous. This is my FIRST, I repeat first time ever to teach kids in Cabuyao. And it's not as easy as it sounds because they are well... very much "chaotic" si it's pretty hard.
EVALUATION: They were pretty noisy and loud at that time. so you can really tell that they are very much excited. When it comes to story telling, most listen attentively but there are times when they get bored, so you really have to make warm-up exercises like asking questions and such. Their weakness is MUSIC. they really like to dance a lot. ^^ So thank God our efforts are worht it. they would be coming again the next day. ;]
DAY 2:
aun nga. I got to church and arranged the materials I needed. And as we came to Cabuyao, we felt very nervous. But today was pretty much different. I was very grateful to the Lord that the kids were listening attentively and behaved well. ^^ When it was time to color, they were quiet. It's like HEAVEN! maybe because I told them that the first 10 to finish their work would be given a star and a lollipop. The things they do for LOLLIPOP. XP
DAY 3:
This is the last day in their DVBS then next comes their graduation. My students weren't that much aware that this is their last day. some would ask "Ate meron pa ba bukas?" or "Ate apnuh ung Saturday?" (kasi sunday ung grad. nila.) Gosh I would totally miss `em. So after the closing prayer we gave `em lollipops! one for each. ;) I became soo attatched to them.

And like OMG~! I already miss my students. :((
